Tarako (Salted Cod Roe) Pasta Cooked in Just One Frying Pan
This is Recipe #2 in my Frying Pan Pasta series.
I worry about how salty tarako pasta is, but it's so delicious that sometimes I really want to eat some.
I made this without butter or heavy cream to make it a little healthier.
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Add the ● ingredients to the frying pan and bring to a boil. Break the spaghetti in half and add to the pan. Cook for 1 minute over medium heat, stirring to prevent sticking.
* Step 2
Turn off the heat and cover with a lid. Let the spaghetti sit for 1 minute less than the cooking time listed on the package.
* Step 3
Remove the lid and stir. Then heat over high to reduce the liquid. (This takes about 3 minutes for 1.6 mm spaghetti)
* Step 4
Turn off the heat and add the ☆ ingredients to the pasta. Remove the membrame of the tarako and break it up as you stir it into the pasta.
* Step 5
You can add mayonnaise, soy sauce, shiso leaves or anything else you like. Transfer the pasta to a dish and top with shredded nori seaweed. Done!
* Step 6
