low calorie corn bread

I got this recipe off my cornmeal box but doctored it to be alot less calories. One serving is 75 calories. enough left over for some butter and a drizzle of honey!

Ingredient

Food ration :

Cooking time :

20 mins
3/4 cup

cornmeal

1/4 tsp

salt

1/4 cup

applesauce

1

egg

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Preheat oven to 400°F

* Step 2

Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl. Set aside.

* Step 3

In a separate bowl, whisk all wet ingredients together.

* Step 4

Pour wet ingredients in bowl with dry ingredients. Stir until just combined.

* Step 5

Pour into greased muffin pan, bread pan, or round cake pan.

* Step 6

Bake for 20 to 30 minutes.

* Step 7

I like mine served with butter and a drizzle of honey. Make syrup is also really good on this.
