Jaggery malpua
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Heat ¾ cup of water in a broad non-stick pan, add the jaggery, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes or till the jaggery melts.
* Step 2
And keep aside to cool slightly.
* Step 3
Add the whole wheat flour and sauf and mix well till no lumps remain.
* Step 4
Add the elaichi powder, fruit salt and 2 tsp of water and mix gently.
* Step 5
Heat a non-stick tava and grease it using a little ghee.
* Step 6
Pour a small ladleful of the batter on it and spread .
* Step 7
Cook, using a little ghee, till it turns golden brown in colour from both the sides.
* Step 8
Serve immediately garnished with elaichi powder and pistachio and rose petals.
