Peanut Masala Rice

Urad Dal

1 teaspoon

Chana Dal

1/2 teaspoon

Cumin seeds

1 teaspoon

Sesame Seeds

2 cups

cooked Rice

3 tbsp

Peanuts

1 teaspoon

Mustard Seeds

1/2 teaspoon

Salt

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Heat 1 teaspoon oil. Roast 2 tbsp peanuts, chana dal, urad dal and cumin seeds with sesame Seeds and dry red chilli until aromat

* Step 2

Add coconut and roast for a minute

* Step 3

Allow to cool completely and grind to fine powder

* Step 4

Heat 2 teaspoon oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds

* Step 5

Add 3 tbsp peanuts and curry leaves. Roast until peanuts are crunchy

* Step 6

Add salt and ground masala. Mix well

* Step 7

Add cooked rice and gently mix

* Step 8

Cover and Simmer for 2-3 minutes. Serve hot with Raita
