Cheats Roasted Pistachio ‘Ice Cream’
This two ingredient ‘ice cream’ follows the recent trend for using frozen bananas as a healthier substitute for ice cream. If you haven’t tried it yet, and you’re trying to be healthier for 2018, then give it a go and you won’t be disappointed! Use really ripe bananas for extra sweetness. #dairyfree, #cleaneating recipe
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Peel and slice the bananas, freeze for at least 4 hours.
* Step 2
Add the pistachios to a food processor and process until well broken down, but not a fine powder.
* Step 3
Add the frozen bananas the processor and blend until smooth. You may need to scrape down the sides of your food processor several times before the bananas are broken down properly.
* Step 4
Serve topped with crushed pistachios and a drizzle of maple syrup.
