Chili-Lemon Shrimp and Asparagus

Chili-Lemon Shrimp and Asparagus

Perfect recipe when you are in a rush or want to meal prep for the week. You can have this by it self or over some steam rice.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Shrimp must be peeled if they still have their shell. If you bought the peeled kind let's move on.

* Step 2

Cut off the ends on the aspragus, about an inch, then cut them in half. Squeeze 1oz of lemon juice. Save for later.

* Step 3

Place pan on stove at medium heat. Add half of the chili olive oil, the chopped onion and minced garlic. Stir for about a one to two minutes.

* Step 4

Add the Asparagus to the pan and stir for 2 minutes.

* Step 5

Move the Asparagus to a side of the pan and then add the shrimp. Add the rest of the chili olive oil to the shrimp. Stir the shrimp.

* Step 6

Sprinkle the black pepper and salt over the shrimp and Asparagus. Stir the Asparagus and shrimp together and cover for two to three minutes.

* Step 7

Uncover the pan add the lemon juice and crush red pepper. Stir everything together and cover for 1 minute. 8. Uncovered and remove from heat. Ready to serve.
