Walnut Yubeshi
Yubeshi is a traditional Japanese vegan sweet. Please watch my video for more detailed directions.

Ingredient
Cooking time :
45 minutes
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Roast walnuts in a toaster oven and chop them into small pieces.
* Step 2
Mix glutinous rice flour, sugar, water and soy sauce in a bowl.
* Step 3
Cover it and heat it in a microwave under medium heat for two minutes. Mix and heat two minutes again.
* Step 4
Repeat this process until the dough becomes "mochi" like consistency.
* Step 5
Add chopped walnuts and mix.
* Step 6
Sprinkle konako or cornstarch to a baking dish and pour the dough.
* Step 7
Shape the dough with wet hands. Cool it in room tempreture.
* Step 8
Cut it into small pieces.
