Chicken Harrisa

This dish originated in Armenia.It is a confort food. This meal was given to poor people for Charity ... so is the legend. It is easy to make and tastes very good. Serve it with any of your favorites.. Roti, Rice, Quinoa, Dalia, Paratha or Salad.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Marinate chicken in 1 tablespoon of Chicken Masala. (10 minutes)

* Step 2

Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a skillet and brown chicken pieces.

* Step 3

In a seperate pot heat 1tablespoon oilive oil. Add cumin seeds, cook 1 minute. Add Ginger, Garlic Paste, Cook 3 mts. Add 1/2 teaspoon Masala, Yogurt, Green Chillies, Hot sauce, curry leaves. Add Tomato sauce. Mix every thing and add chick peas with liquid. Bring to a boil and simmer for 20 mts. When ready to serve sprikle chopped cilantro leaves.
