Egg on toast with a twist

Everyone enjoys egg on toast, so here's a twist. Top layer of egg, soft bread in the middle and fried bread at the bottom. (Please note only 1 egg otherwise the toast will burn before the egg cooks)

Ingredient

1 tablespoon

oil

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Add the oil to a frying pan and leave on for a few minutes to heat up.

* Step 2

Cut a rectangle or square in one of the slices of bread leaving around an inch of border. Then place on top of the other whole slice and place into the pan whole side facing down, and leave for 3 min.

* Step 3

Meanwhile put the grill on medium heat

* Step 4

Crack the egg into the centre of the bread then place together with the pan under the grill for 5 min, or until the top part is toasted

* Step 5

Plate up, add plenty of tomato sauce, salt and pepper and enjoy.
