Dry chanadal in dabha style

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

First soak dal in hot water ratio is 1 cup dal and 2 cups water for half an hour. Now take a pressure cooker by adding 2 tbs of ghee,heat it and add cumin seeds when spluttering add asofetida, garlic ginger and saute for a minute.now add onion saute till golden in colour.

* Step 2

Now add tomato and saute till becomes mashy and leaves the ghee add all dry masalas and add soaked dal in it and whistle for 4 and after cool the cooker.

* Step 3

Now take another pan heat ghee and add little garlic 2-3 flakes chopped and dry red chilli saute for a minute add 1/4 tsp red chilli powder and off the gas.por on hot dal and garnish with coriander leaves. If dal has little water then little dry it before putting the tadka.enjoy this delicious dabha style dal with wheat lacha Parantha.
