Lamb Hotpot

A simple but very tasty dish, feel free to add or subtract spices and herbs, but I suggest you try this way first.

Ingredient

Food ration :

6 servings

Cooking time :

150 mins
1 tbsp.

thyme

3/4 cup

stock

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Cut the lamb into cubes

* Step 2

Cover the base of a casserole dish with half the potatoes

* Step 3

Sprinkle liberally with salt & pepper.

* Step 4

Mix together celery, onions, carrots and herbs & thyme, sprinkle wit salt and pepper.

* Step 5

Mix stock with chilli sauce, Worcester sauce

* Step 6

Pour over the lamb & potatoes

* Step 7

Top with the rest of the potatoes and brush with the butter

* Step 8

Cover & bake in a pre-heated oven 200c for 1 ½ hours.

* Step 9

Remove lid and continue baking for 30 minutes until potatoes are browned.
