Which kid doesn't love this !
It's my son's favourite, sometimes he gets this treat. He loves simple like this for Tiffin or evening snacks. Sometimes he likes to top it with Whipped cream frosting and have it.
The addition of chocolate chips is optional, I sometimes skip it.

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Preheat the oven at 180°C.
Sift all the dry ingredients and keep aside. In a bowl, add in the sugar, egg, vanilla and whip or beat it it, till fluffy, add oil and whip it again and then add the milk and mix well, an electric hand blender would be good for a smooth fluffy batter.
* Step 2
Add in the dry mix slowly and form a smooth batter, Scrap the bowl as and when needed during the process. With the help of ladle put batter in the cupcake tray with liners or direct in the greased and flour dusted cupcake tray cavity. Fill 2/3 rd of the cupcake liners/ cavity. Add in the chocochips if you like to do so or simply skip it.
* Step 3
Bake for 15 -20 minutes in a preheated oven at 180°C or till the skewer inserted into the cupcake comes out clean. Take it out of the oven, let it be in the tray for about 5 minutes and then cool it on a cooling rack. Have it warm, if you love. If you want to frost completely cool and chill the cupcakes.
