Kaddu ki sabzi (pumpkin sabzi)
Pumpkin is a very nutritious vegetable.
Rich in vitamin A it is great for the eyes specially.
So include this vegetable in your routine diet. Of the many dishes you make do try making this tasty pumpkin sabzi once in a while...it goes well with rice.
I like it with curd rice..

Ingredient
Food ration :
2-3 persons
Cooking time :
15 minutes
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Heat oil. Splutter panch phoron. Add chopped onion. Saute till translucent. Add pumpkin dices.
Put salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and coriander powder.
Add little water and give a nice mix.
* Step 2
Cook at slow flame for some time. Then add chopped tomato and kasuri methi.
Give a mix. Add little water. Cover and cook at slow to medium heat till pumpkin is cooked, softened and get all the flavours.
* Step 3
Finally add garam masala. Mix and let it be on flame for a minute or two.
Then switch the flame off.
Let it settle down for some time. Then give a nice gentle mix.
It is ready now!!
* Step 4
Serve hot or warm..
Enjoy with rice!!
