I have made a finger licking dal recipe, apt for all times but, specially when you are in search for a no onion no garlic recipe with added nutritional value then, here's the pick for you..

Ingredient

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
First take a pressure cooker. Put water, little salt and turmeric powder. Keep it for boiling in slow flame.
* Step 2
Next take a kadhai. Heat it with oil. Splutter cumin seeds. Add a dash of hing. Next add grated ginger and fresh green chillies.
Then add bottle gourd dices and saute for some time. Next add the washed and soaked dals. Mix and continue sauteing. Next add tomato dices and mix. Continue sauteing for some more time.
* Step 4
Now put this sauteed dal into the hot water in the pressure cooker.Add coriander powder and garam masala.
Give a gentle mix. Now put the lid and pressure cook for 2-3 whistles. Let it cool down and release pressure.
Open and give a gentle mix.
If required, adjust consistency by adding hot water. Then add salt and chopped coriander leaves and mix.
* Step 5
Next prepare for tempering.
Heat a tadka pan with oil.
Splutter panch phoron. Add fennel seeds. Add dry red chilies.
Now put this tadka into the dal and cover immediately so that the tadka get nicely infused.
After a minute, open and give a gentle mix.
* Step 6
Delicious no onion no garlic BOTTLE GOURD DAL is ready to serve hot...
