Naked Christmas Cupcakes

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Heat oven to 180°C and line a muffin tin. In a large bowl cream, the butter and sugar together for a minute. Add eggs and vanilla extract beat for a minute.

* Step 2

Then add milk and combine. Add flour, baking powder, salt and combine well. Divide the cake batter into 3 equal parts.

* Step 3

Add about food coloring to each bowl to make red, and green batters.

* Step 4

Stir well, so no streaks of plain batter remain. (Add additional food colouring if necessary).

* Step 5

Spoon the mixture into the paper cases starting with the white batter, and then green, red.

* Step 6

Repeat adding each subsequent spoonful on top of the previous colour until they are almost full.

* Step 7

Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes or toothpick inserted into one of the cakes comes out clean. Enjoy your less sugary and colorful cupcakes.
