Tomatoes are 30 rupees per kg now days so my brother bought 10 kg. I thought to store them for a long time .Put some of them in the freezer to freeze so we can use them as required. Wrapped some tight tomatoes with news paper and put them in the fridge.Now what about remaining 5 kg??? So here is the easiest way to make tomato puree๐Ÿ˜ I didnt slice tomatoes you can cut into halves.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Wash and dry the tomatoes. Takea heavy bottom pan /wok and put them in the pan.

Cover and cook on low flame for 30 minutes. Stir between. Turn of the flame and let them cool down.

* Step 3

In a blender jar blend them and starin. Discard the skin and seeds.

* Step 4

In the same wok add this puree and cook for 15 to 20 minutes until thick. Add citric acid and cool for more 5 minutes.

* Step 5

Can be stored in an air tight jar or container for up to 2 weeks in refrigerator. Can be stored in ice trays or small containers for up to 6 months in freezer.
