Aloo/Batata vada is a fried snack of batter-coated potato stuffed fritter dumplings. it is a popular Indian vegetarian fast food in Maharashtra, India. The dish consists of a mashed potato patty coated with chick pea flour, which is then deep-fried and served with chutney. The vada is typically around two or three inches in diameter. Across different regions of India, this dish is also known as aloo bonda, aloo vada, batata bonda, potato bonda and potato vada. I tried it for the very first time just loved it specially my family loved it too much.

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Firstly mash potatoes with hands
* Step 2
Crush garlic ginger and green chillies in mortar pestle yoy can use a grinder
* Step 3
Heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds fry until fregrant then add stuffing mixture
* Step 4
Add hing and turmeric powder fry for 1 minute until the raw smell goes off remove from the heat set aside
* Step 5
In a mixing bowl add gram flour salt turmeric soda and make a batter with required water
* Step 6
Add fried stuffing in mashed potatoes with coriander and salt mix with hands and make balls
* Step 7
Heat oil in wok.coat this ball into gram flour mixture and fry on medium low flame
* Step 8
Dish it out sprinkle red chilli powder serve with fried green chillies and chutney
