Rainbow cake

This gorgeous rainbow cake or cookies tastes awesome. It’s easy to make and could be fabulous treat at the Valentine’s Day with beautiful colours and heart shape.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Add sugar, butter, oil and vanilla extract into a bowl. Beat for 4 minutes until it is light.

Now add eggs Mix together and at the end, add flour, baking powder and milk. Blend until all ingredients are mixed well.

Now, divide your cake batter into four small bowls with same amount of batter. Then add food colouring.

Transfer each one of coloured batter into a piping bag. Preheat the oven to 175C.

On a baking tray with parchment paper, pipe a line of one of coloured batter. Keep lining with all the other colours.

Repeat a second layer on top of the first layer (as you see in the photos).

Bake the cake for 15 minutes. Once cake is baked, take out of the oven. Let to cool and remove from the baking tray.

With a heart shape cutter cut out cake pieces.
