Tawa Rava Dhokla

#5pm Tawa Rava Dhokla is a easy made recipe with these lovely heart shaped dhoklas your kids would love it. It's very healthy, light and fluffy dhokla. It is a snack item with goodness of rava/ suji/ semolina ,loaded with veggies, making a perfect evening or morning snack or breakfast dish. It is called Tawa dhokla because it is made in Tawa and cook it in steam by covering a lid on top. Hoping you all loved it , and make it in your desire shapes

Ingredient

1 teaspoon

Mustard seeds

1/2 teaspoon

Red chilli Powder

1/2 packet

eno/fruit salt

As required

salt

As required

Oil

As required

water

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

In a big mixing bowl, take suji/rava add curd/dahi. Mix it well.

* Step 2

Now add grated carrots and coriander leaves. You can add more vegetables of your choice. You can add peas, corn or capsicum. Now mix water and make it a batter kind consistency. Be careful with water, do not add more or less. Add water only if curd is thick.Add salt and mix it well.

* Step 3

Keep it aside for 10 minutes.Just before making dhoklas add half packet eno/ fruit salt and mix them well.Heat a non stick tawa.

* Step 4

Place a cookie cutter, i used a heart shaped cutter,pour oil inside it and once oil is heated add sesame seeds and mustard seeds, let it pop up.

* Step 5

On slow flame, pour 1 teaspoon of batter inside the cookie cutter.

* Step 6

Sprinkle red chilli powder and cover it with a lid.Let it cook on slow flame for 5-7 minutes.

* Step 7

Once done do a knife or toothpick test. The toothpick should come clean.

* Step 8

Using a knife clean the edges of the cookie cutter and demould it.
