Red Velvet Cupcakes

Just one of my favorite cupcakes. Simple and a Classic 💕

1 Jar

Nutella

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F. Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners then set aside. In a large mixing bowl add the red velvet cake mix and all the ingredients requested on the box. Mix til thoroughly well combined. With a ice cream scoop or spoon divide batter among the cupcake liners. Then bake til a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

* Step 2

Remove cupcakes from oven and let cool to room temperature completely. In another large mixing bowl add the cream cheese, vanilla extract, powdered sugar, and cream. With a hand mixer beat together til everything is light and fluffy. Set aside.

* Step 3

Fill two piping bags with large tips; 1) Frosting Mixture and 2) Nutella. The one with Nutella pipe into all the cupcakes. Then with the other bag with the frosting pipe in a circular motion to frost cupcakes. Serve immediately and enjoy 😋💕.

* Step 4

**Note*** I sometimes reserve one cupcake without frosting to crumble and sprinkle over top of the frosted cupcakes to give the cakes more of decoration. Its optional.
