Creamy Mushrooms with Pasta
This is a very quick and easy supper recipe, I don't think you need exact quantities, use as many mushrooms as you have, as much pasta as you want, then add two heaped spoonfuls of double cream for each person, and enough Parmesan cheese as you think you'd like. Then just increase the quantities depending on how many you're cooking for. This only takes as long as it takes to cook pasta.

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Gently fry the chopped onion in the melted butter until translucent. Bring a large pan of salted water to the boil and start cooking the pasta.
* Step 2
Slice the mushrooms and add to the onions, saute, stirring, until tender and cooked through. Add lots of black pepper.
* Step 3
Add the garlic to the mushrooms, if using, and a squeeze of lemon juice, then stir in the cream and a handful of grated Parmesan. Drain the pasta and stir in to the mushroom sauce. Check for seasoning.
* Step 4
Serve on a warm plate, topped with some more Parmesan and black pepper and accompanied by a salad tossed in olive oil and lemon juice.
