Princessleah's adapted from Princess Cruises' Fettuccine Alfredo

This was my late husband Scott's favorite.

Ingredient

Food ration :

Cooking time :

1 hour
1 stick

butter

2-3 cloves

garlic

1 tsp

nutmeg

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Cook noodles according to package instructions

* Step 2

Drain and set aside.

* Step 3

Boil ¾ c. cream and the butter and remove from heat.

* Step 4

Combine egg yolks with remaining ¼ c. cream to form a liaison.Add ¼ c. of the boiled cream to the liaison. Stir and then combine liaison with the rest of the cream. Return to low heat.

* Step 5

Add Parmesan and Romano cheeses.

* Step 6

Use a garlic press to crush the garlic into the sauce

* Step 7

Add nutmeg and sherry.

* Step 8

Adjust seasoning.If necessary, reheat pasta in boiling, salted water. Toss drained pasta with sauce.
