Cooking instructions

* Step 1

To boil the crab πŸ¦€, wash crab πŸ¦€ and keep aside, boil water πŸ’¦ add salt πŸ§‚, add crab πŸ¦€ and boil for 6 mins or crab colour change into reddish orange, the timer depends on the size of the πŸ¦€ Crab, remove the crab add in cold water to stop over cooking. Remove from the water πŸ’§ and strain it, keep aside. Soak the basmati rice 🍚 for 15 mins.

* Step 2

Add oil, heat it, add whole spices (cinnamon sticks, small cardamons, fennel seeds, bay leaves πŸ‚, cumin seeds) cook for 4 mins, add finely chopped onions πŸ§… cook till little golden, add ginger garlic paste πŸ«šπŸ§„ and green chillies paste mix well cook for 1 sec, add finely chopped tomatoes πŸ… cook for 2 mins

* Step 3

Add coriander cumin powder, turmeric powder, paprika powder 🌢️/ kashmiri chilli powder 🌢️, fish masala powder and mix well, cook till oil comes out, add basmati rice 🍚 and water πŸ’¦ mix gently, let it boil, when water is boiling, add boiled crab πŸ¦€ and mix well, cook till rice is done, serve hot.

* Step 4

Garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves 🌿, lemon slices πŸ‹, onions rings πŸ§…, if desired with slit green chillies.
