Cheese muffins with a sweet marmite glaze
These muffins were inspired by one I had on holiday early this year with my partner. Which brings back happy memories of our time on the West Coast :) this recipe is one from my blog 'Off Beet Blog'
Ingredient
Food ration :
6-8 servings
Cooking time :
25-30 minutes
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Pre-heat oven to 180 degrees C. In a large mixing bowl, add the flour, eggs, oil, milk, and grated cheese.
* Step 2
Stir the ingredients gently until just combined. In a greased muffin tray, divide the batter into the tray, sprinkle over a little extra cheese and bake for 20 minutes
* Step 3
Whilst the muffins are baking, make the glaze by mixing the marmite, water and golden syrup together in a small microwaveable bowl. Warm in the microwave for 20-30 seconds until a syrupy glaze mix is formed. Stir to combine
* Step 4
Once the muffins have cooled down, pour the glaze over the muffins.
* Step 5
Enjoy fresh as a great on the go Brekkie! :)
