Grilled steak with homemade mushroom sauce and Spur style onion

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Marinate the steak with spices and sauce, leave aside for 30 mins.Slice the onions and place them in a container with the soda water, leave it for 30mins.Prepare the fire with the coal and firelighters.Wait for 15mins.
* Step 2
Make the mushroom sauce on the braai stand by adding the butter, herbs and mushrooms to the pan.Let it cook for 5mins stirring few times. Add the flour,milk, salt and pepper,keep stirring to avoid lumps till sauce has thickened and take off heat.
* Step 3
Place the steak on the braai griller, turning it on both sides till done and keep aside.
* Step 4
Add the flour for the onion rings in a bowl with the spices.Add little oil to the pan and place on the braai stand. When oil is hot take the onions out of the soda water and coat them with flour. Fry them till golden and place on a papertowel.If needed reheat the sauce and steak on the braai before serving. Enjoy a Spur style candlelight meal in the comfort of your home.
