What’s in the cupboard vegetable pies
In to the final leg of making some pies. Looking at what I can use. Just opened the cupboard and picked a couple of tins. #WorldPulseDay
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Raid the cupboard. I found that the tin of beans was actually too much so you may want to use a smaller one, or make more pies.
* Step 2
Roll out pastry and cut bases and tops. Place on greaseproof paper and place in the fridge until ready to use.
* Step 3
Empty the tins and the peas into a pan. Bring to the boil and then simmer for 10 minutes.
* Step 4
Drain and rinse the beans and return to the pan to cool. While cooling stir in the cheese.
* Step 5
When the bean and cheese mix is cold. Line the cold pie maker with the bases and fill.
* Step 6
Cook until golden. Then remove and allow to cool.
* Step 7
This Is recipe 3/3 today. Here’s a shot of all the pies. Top to bottom, hunters chicken, cheesy leek and potato and these bean and cheese pies.
