Australian Shepherd Lamb Mince Pie
Move to Australia and lived in Brisbane for about 6 years made me have to learn about Australia a lots, not only about the culture but also the food. And several times we bought shepherd pie directly from the supermarket but it didn't feel right on my tongue, so I tried to make it myself and cook it, violaaaa and the result ...
My husband and my daughter say wooow it was so delicious and better than buying, now sometime I make a lots in containers and put in the freezer, so when I lazy to cook just take couple and defrost and heat it up in the oven, and my daughter also love to bring to school for lunch.
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Cook and mashed the potato add 1 tablespoon butter season with salt and little bit pepper and set and side.
* Step 2
In large saucepan, cook lamb mince meat onion and carrot till mince is cooked through. Drain fat.
* Step 3
Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 10 minutes. If mixture is wetter than you light, add couple tablespoon of flour and stir.
* Step 4
Place meat mixture in a silver aluminium foil containers, or casserole dish. Top with mashed potatoes.
* Step 5
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
Serve while warm and enjoy with a glass of wine 😍👍
