Chicken parm on pita wrap

Chicken parm on pita wrap

Feed a family of 4 for around 10 dollars. This is a delicious way to do it.

Ingredient

pita bread

1 can

mushrooms

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Get a piece of aluminum foil big enough to wrap around a piece of pita bread

* Step 2

Put pita bread on aluminum foil about 3/4 of the way leaving only the top hanging out. In a bowl heat up pizza sauce for around 40 seconds to a minute

* Step 3

Spread pizza sauce on pita bread and sprinkle desired amount of parmesan cheese on top.

* Step 4

In a pan heat on medium and sautee onions and mushrooms until tender and add garlic about 2 mins before its done

* Step 5

Pull out of pan and put on a plate

* Step 6

In the same pan put 4 pieces of deli sliced chicken overlapping each other and put 2 or 4 more on top of that. Cook for around a minute and flip over.

* Step 7

Put 2 slices of provolone cheese on top to melt. When cheese is melted take spatula and put chicken on top of pita bread and add toppings.

* Step 8

Once assembled take both sides of aluminum foil and overlap to wrap and fold bottom up. This helps to not be so messy when you eat it.

Another method is to bake it. Preheat oven to 350° assemble everything and bake for 15 to 20 mins. Place on aluminum foil wrap and enjoy !!!!
