Roasted Beets Batch 3

Fresh beets are so delicious, very different from the pickled or canned varieties.

Ingredient

1/2 teaspoon

pink Himalayan salt

1/2 stick

butter

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Make a heat outside. Cut the top off the beet root. Cut in half and start roasting over the heat. Turn as needed. Cook till soft on the outsides, about 30 minutes.

* Step 2

Peel the charred peeling from the outside, but not the cut parts. Slice into thin bite sized pieces. Put into a pot with the butter and salt.

Simmer covered stirring often till tender. Serve I hope you enjoy!!!!
