Corn meal mush

Ingredient

4 cups

water

to taste

Salt

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Slowly add cornmeal to boiling water stirring constantly until well mixed

* Step 2

Stir 2 more minutes

* Step 3

Cover and cook in a double boiler 2 to 4 hours

* Step 4

Pour into oblong pan cool completely

* Step 5

Fry slowly in butter serve with syrup.
