This is a knock off recipe for the loved Famous Amos Chocolate Chip Cookies that are sure to please.
Ingredient

100 cookies
1/2 Cup
Shortening
1/2 Stick
Unsalted Butter
1/2 Cup
Dark Brown Sugar
1/2 Cup
Granulated Sugar
1
Egg
1 teaspoon
Vanilla Extract
1/4 Cup
Milk
2 Cups
All-Purpose Flour
3/4 teaspoon
Baking Soda
1 teaspoon
Salt
1 1/4 Cups
Mini Semisweet Chocolate Chips
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F
* Step 2
Line cookie sheet with parchment paper
* Step 3
Cream together Shortening, Butter, Sugars, Egg, and Vanilla in a medium sized bowl until smooth. Gently mix in the milk.
* Step 4
In a separate mixing bowl combine Flour, Baking Soda, and Salt.
* Step 5
Mix the wet ingredients in to the dry ingredients.
* Step 6
Stir in the Chocolate Chips.
* Step 7
Measure 1 teaspoon of cookie dough. Form measured dough into a ball with your hands. Press balls onto the parchment lined cookie sheet. Place cookies about two finger widths apart.
* Step 8
Bake cookies 15 to 20 minutes or until cookies are lightly browned and crispy.
* Step 9
Remove cookies from the oven and allow to cool on a wire rack.
