Apple Dump Cake

It's not the prettiest picture, but this is such an easy and delicious dessert. Recipe adapted from delish.com.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x13" baking pan. In a large bowl, toss together the apples, pecans, both sugars, cinnamon, salt and vanilla. Then spread them out into the pan. Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the top of the apples and place the butter cubes evenly over the top of the cake mix (be sure to cover the whole top with butter so you dont end up with any dry spots).

* Step 2

Bake for 40-60 minutes, until the cake mix is golden and the apples underneath are tender. How long it takes depends on how hot your oven runs. Once it's done, let the pan cool for just a few minutes on a wire rack, then serve warm with some ice cream and caramel on top.
