Beet Rawa Idli

Beet Rawa Idli

Ingredient

1 small cup

rawa

3/4 cup

yogurt

to taste

Salt

1/2 tsp

black pepper

1 tbsp

oil

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Soak rawa in yogurt Add salt and pepper Add grated beetroot Mix well Add very little water if necessary otherwise avoid Just keep aside for 5 minutes

* Step 2

Keep the Idli steamer ready and grease the Idli plates

* Step 3

Prepare tempering - Heat up oil in a pan Add mustard seeds When it splutters. Add cashews and chopped curry leaves

* Step 4

Put this tempering in the prepared batter Mix well. Add 1 tsp eno and mix gently

* Step 5

Pour frothy batter in the prepared Idli plates and let them steam for 5-7 minutes or till done.

* Step 6

Remove when done. Enjoy with your favorite chutney Here I have used green mint chutney
