Potato Curlers/ kulkuls

#bake Kulkuls are specially made on Christmas Usually they are sweet But I hv tried a Savory version

Ingredient

2 cups

rice flour

1/4 cup

gram flour

as needed

Salt

1 tbsp

butter

1 tsp

jeera

1 pinch

Asafoetida

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Peel and mash the potato with the help of a fork

* Step 2

Sieve the flours and mix with potato

* Step 3

Add butter, Asafoetida and salt

* Step 4

Mix well with hands so that everything blends together nicely

* Step 5

If the dough the crumbly mix some water and make a smooth dough

* Step 6

Keep it covered for sometime

* Step 7

Take oil for frying in a pan or a wok

* Step 8

Make small balls with the dough

* Step 9

Grease a fork and press the small ball of dough on the back side of the fork

* Step 10

Once flattened you will get impressions of fork on it

* Step 11

Remove by rolling it

* Step 12

Place them in hot oil to fry

* Step 13

Fry till crispy

* Step 14

Remove on an absorbent paper

* Step 15

Enjoy potato kulkuls or curlers
