Saturday Morning Hot Chocolate
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Prep and measure all ingredients. Over medium heat, in a pot/sauce pan, bring 1/4 C of water to a simmer.
* Step 2
Whisk in 2 tbsp of pure cocoa powder until it's fully dissolved, then pour in 2 cups of milk. Keep whisking until it starts to bubble but not boiling.
* Step 3
Turn the heat down, add 100g - 150g of semi sweet dark chocolate bars and 1 tsp of pure Vanilla extract.
* Step 4
Keep whisking until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth. Serve hot.
* Step 5
Notes:
1. Serve with whipped cream or as it is.
2. Using sugar is optional and if you do, add in step 1.
