Marinated Bean Salad

I grew up with bean salad being brought to church and family functions. If you need an old standby here it is.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Drain all beans; then combine sugar, vinegar, and oil. Pour over the beans.

* Step 2

Add salt and pepper to taste and chill before serving.

* Step 3

If desired peppers, onions, and water chestnuts can be added.
