Konnyaku Steak

Scoop the sauce with a spoon, and spread it with the back of the spoon to decorate the plate as shown in the top photo.

Konnyaku

2 tbsp

Soy sauce

2 tsp

Mirin

2 tsp

Sugar

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Make shallow cuts into the konnyaku to allow the flavors to be absorbed, then slice into 5 mm thick pieces.

Combine the seasoning ingredients in a bowl, then add the konnyaku and marinate for about 10 minutes.

Fry the konnyaku over low-medium heat until crispy. Transfer to a dish.

Boil the sauce from Step 2 over medium heat.

Drizzle the sauce from the boiled sauce over the konnyaku, season with wasabi, then serve.
