Crockpot Cheesy Chicken and Rice
Great recipe Great flavor I'm back from summer break with family and this one is good easy family pleaser!!.. Everyone likes a good crockpot recipe!.. You can add lots I like to add can of drained and rinsed black beans with corn as well my youngest doesn't like the beans so that's why not in this one also great topped with pico de gallo (I have good recipe on page) and green onions topped with fresh cilantro!
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Mix broth or two can chick stock and 1 can of cream of chicken with seasonings bay leaves and turn crockpot on high...
* Step 2
Once soup mixtures stirred together add the four chicken breast and chopped onion and cover on high
* Step 3
After 3-4hours (4is how long I usually do mine around.. You want the chicken cooked thru).. Add the box of Zatarain's yellow rice stir and close lid for another hour.. (If like remove the bay leaves before adding rice we keep it in their whoever gets the leaves is supposed to have good luck!)
* Step 4
After rice has cooked for an hour making sure rice is cooked thru add can of corn and 2 cups of shredded cheese..
* Step 5
Fluff rice and ingredients together and it's ready to serve!
