Vickys Homemade Gravy

This is a quick gravy recipe that doesn't use roasted meat juices because sometimes we need gravy for other things!

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Melt the margarine in a saucepan and add the onion. Fry until lightly browned, around 5 minutes

* Step 2

Whisk in the cornflour and cook for a minute to get the starchy taste cooked out

* Step 3

Whisk in the stock and simmer until thickened

* Step 4

Whisk in the milk and season to taste

* Step 5

Makes around 260 ml gravy / 1 cup
