Sautéed Beef Liver
Liver isn't bad! My husband loves this recipe.
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
PREHEAT OVEN TO 200 degrees
* Step 2
Combine 5 tablespoons of Flour for Dredging with Italian Spice blend, dredge the liver in it.
* Step 3
Put butter in the nonstick pan, and melt it until it just begins to smoke. Cook each of the liver pieces in small groups, not crowding them. Cook 2 minutes a side, and keep them warm in the oven while you cook the second batch.
* Step 4
Put Wine, diced leeks and beef stock in the pan, and simmer the cutlets in to simmer with the wine and beef stock for about 4 minutes.
* Step 5
Keep the cutlets warm in the oven, and reduce the wine and beef stock scraping the pan constantly with a plastic or safe spoon for a non-stick pan, and use as gravy for the liver.
* Step 6
Serve with rice,or potato and vegetable.
