Layered Crescent Salad (hot+cold salad)
An original Recipe, created at home, here in Kentucky.
The crunch of Salted Tortilla Chips and Lettuce, The softness of the Fried Egg, Tomatoes and Jalepenos; the texture of the Cured Beef, all dressed with a partially melted slice of Pepper Cheese, patterned in layers of crescent shapes, drizzled with your favorite dressings and sprinkled with heat of Crushed Red peppers!
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Line a plate with tortilla chips, top with a bed of lettuce.
* Step 2
Fry your egg til desired doneness. I prefer over medium. Whites done, yolk somewhat runny.
* Step 3
Top left side of tortilla chips and Lettuce with egg, partially melted slice of white pepper cheese, then layer the right side of egg in a crescent pattern (half circle shape) with cured beef.
* Step 4
Keep the crescent pattern going in layers to the right, adding jalepenos, tomatoes, Blue Cheese Dressing (or your favorite dressing) and dip. For dip, I used Creamy Jalepeno Dip.
* Step 5
Sprinkle all with Crushed Red Pepper. Enjoy!
