Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Heat oven to 350°F. Grease a cookie sheet.
* Step 2
Cream the butter and sugar together in a large mixing bowl. Beat in the egg, water, and vanilla extract until the mixture is smooth.
* Step 3
In a separate bowl, mix the oats, flour, salt, and baking soda. Gradually stir the oat mixture into the butter mixture until thoroughly combined
* Step 4
Put table spoon fulls of the mixture on to the greased cookie sheet, making sure they are will spaced. Transfer to the oven and bake for 15 minutes, or until the cookies are golden brown.
* Step 5
Remove cookies from the oven and place on a wire rack to cool
