Cook all day Great Northern Beans with smoked Turkey parts
Cold Snowy February day, a little something to warm my bones
Ingredient

4-6 servings
Cooking time :
2and1/2 hours-3 hours, prep time one hour
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Add dry beans to water and bring to a boil
* Step 2
Remove from heat and let stand one hour to tenderize beans
* Step 3
Return to medium flame and add smoked turkey necks, or other parts if desired, and garlic.
* Step 4
Bring to boil, add celery green pepper diced and onion reduce heat and simmer one and1/2- 2 hours until beans are tender. (If using fresh carrots 🥕 add here)
* Step 5
Add canned carrots, salt, pepper and cook another 15 min
* Step 6
Remove from heat and serve hot with cornbread or desired
