Affordable Pork Tamarind-based Stew (Sinigang na Paa ng Baboy)

This is sinigang.

Ingredient

water

1 bunch

string beans

5 small

okra

1 medium

onion

3 small

tomatoes

1 tbsp

salt

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Boil pork knuckles in an hour. Set aside with the broth.

* Step 2

Heat 2 cups of water, add chopped onions and tomato. Also add salt to taste.

* Step 3

Add boiled pork knuckles and the broth. Simmer for 5 mimutes.

* Step 4

Add tamarind powder pack.

* Step 5

Add chili picante or pansigang na sili and raddish until it boils.

* Step 6

Add okra and string beans and simmer for 1 minute.

* Step 7

Serve while hot.

* Step 8

This is popularly known in the Philippines as Sinigang na Paa ng Baboy.
