Serve this vegetable relish as a condiment for cheese and cold meats at your next party

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

In a large bowl combine water, salt and chopped vegetables

* Step 2

Cover and place it refrigerator overnight

* Step 3

Heat vinegar and sugar in large pot until just boiling

* Step 4

Wrap pickling spices and mustard seeds in a clean coffee filter and tie with string Add to vinegar

* Step 5

Drain vegetables and add to vinegar mix

* Step 6

Return mixture to just boiling

* Step 7

Remove from heat and allow to cool

* Step 8

Remove spice pack and place mixture into Mason jars

* Step 9

Keep refrigerated until served. Will keep 3-4 weeks
