A scintillating variation for all Popcorn lovers. Now this can be made even at home. All you need to have is a Popcorn maker. You can even make these in Microwave with the readymade Microwave sachets. Or can be easily made on stove top too and thus can be relished at Tea-time or as an all time snack on just about any day. Even good for the late night hunger pangs. And this one is an all time favourite of almost everyone of us in the family. And the best part is that this can be made at home very easily without any hassles. Nothing difficult at all. Very simple and absolutely delicious Za'atar Popcorn is a great way to enjoy your time with your family. Family time is always quality time and I think it should be celebrated with a bang.

Ingredient

Food ration :

5-6 servings

Cooking time :

15 minutes
2 tbsp

Butter

1 tsp

Oil

2-3 tbsp

Za'atar

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Take a deep thick bottomed vessel for making it. If there is a popcorn maker at home, it will be a bonus. Add these corn kernels to a popcorn maker in it's plate provided. Or simply make in a thick bottomed vessel or a pressure cooker.

* Step 2

And if making in a large vessel using the common way of making it at homes, then heat butter with a teapoon of oil. Add za'atar and salt. Add corn kernels. Stir well. Wait for a popping sound.

* Step 3

Cover with a lid now and wait for the rest of the popping. It should be done on a low to medium high heat. As soon as the popping becomes slower, take it off the heat. In between give it a good shake once or twice. Wait for a minute or two before taking off the lid. Carefully remove them onto a wide plate.

* Step 4

Serve right away and sprinkle more of za'atar if desired before serving. Enjoy!
