Vegetarian green beans stew

I wanted a hearty meal on a rainy Saturday evening. Delicous with some rice and some pickled veggies.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

On medium heat,heat the oil and bay leaves in a saucepan until fragrant.

* Step 2

Add chopped onions and garlic until it turns golden brown.

* Step 3

Add chilli,green beans and potato. Cook for 5mins on medium heat.

* Step 4

Add the stock and cook for 10~15mins or until potatoes are soft.

* Step 5

Mix the cornstarch,water,garlic powder and pepper until smooth. Add the mixture to the stew. Stir until it becomes thick and creamy and cook for 5mins on low heat. Turn off the heat sprinkle with coriander. Add salt based on personal preference.
