Open Sandwich

#boxweek20 Traditionally Open Sandwich is Danish and it’s very popular with the bread being Rye bread. I changed to suit my taste and I used Sourdough bread, I didn’t make it traditional instead made it very Indian

Ingredient

Food ration :

Cooking time :

Preparation time-10 mins, Cooking time-1 hr
As per taste

Salt

as per taste

Black pepper powder

As Required

pomegranate seeds

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

For Cream Cheese - 1 ltr milk is to be boiled and once the milk starts boiling, 2 lime juice is to be added. Milk will start curdling. Set aside, strain the paneer on a muslin cloth. Press hard on the muslin cloth to extract all the whey.

* Step 2

Wash the paneer and press to strain again. Once all whey is set aside, the paneer should be a softball. Place this on the blender and blend smooth, add 1 Tbsp water and the Cream cheese is ready to use. Can be stored for a week in an airtight container

* Step 3

On the Sourdough bread slices, spoon the Cheese well.

* Step 4

Slice half of the avocado and cut into thin slices and place on the bread, place boiled corn kernels.

* Step 5

Sprinkle a pinch of salt, black pepper powder, and garnish with pomegranate seeds.

* Step 6

Plate and enjoy with your favorite beverage.
