Spring onion Zhunka

#NVM A traditional Maharashtrian zhunka recipe that was relished by village people in the olden days. It's easy to make, very yummy and healthy too 😍

Ingredient

1/4 cup approx.

Water

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

In a pan heat oil. Add Asafoetida, garlic and green chillies. Now add the spring onions and saute for a few seconds.

* Step 2

Now add salt, and chickpea flour and mix well. Sprinkle water all over, cover and cook for a few seconds. Do not leave the recipe unattended. Remove the lid again sprinkle some water all over and keep mixing.

* Step 3

Make sure the zhunka is cooked well. Serve hot with jowar bhakaris or wheat chapatis.
