Rose petal and strawberry sandwiches
Elsewhere on Cookpad, I share with you my recipe for sour cherry and almond cake (https://cookpad.com/us/recipes/2357113-sour-cherry-and-almond-cake). Today, it's the turn of my favourite ever summer treat - the rose petal and strawberry sandwich. Fancy a Victoria Sponge kind of vibe but don't have time to bake? This is the answer to your prayers.

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Spread the cream on both slices of brioche bread.
* Step 2
Stir the rosewater into the jam, then spread this on top of the cream on one slice of bread.
* Step 3
Thinly slice the strawberries and carefully lay on top of the cream on the other slice of bread.
* Step 4
Remove the heels of the rose petals (the part of the petal that meets the stem. Often this part can be bitter but try your petals and ignore if no bitterness is detected) before laying the petals on top of the jam.
* Step 5
Carefully introduce the strawberry side to the petal side. Cut off the crusts and slice into finger sandwiches.
* Step 7
